In the yellow garbage can, we don't belong together

In recent days, a major awareness-raising campaign has been encouraging residents of Tarn-et-Garonne to sort their waste more effectively.

Supported by

  • all local authorities in the Tarn-et Garonne department,
  • DRIMM, the Séché Environnement subsidiary in charge of sorting household packaging in the area,
  • Citeo, which offers the Sorting Guide app to make sorting easier on a daily basis,

the "In the yellow garbage can, we don't belong together" campaign reminds people of the right gestures and attempts to stem the sharp rise in sorting errors: in the département, nearly 30% of the contents of yellow bins should not be there!

Highly mobilized, the elected representatives presented the campaign at a press conference held on Wednesday, September 13. In particular, they reminded us of the heavy financial impact induced by these sorting errors.
