Abfälle in Ressourcen verwandeln

Collection: the ecologistics park

Our park boasts nearly 500 dumpsters of 10 to 35m³, enabling us to collect and transport non-hazardous waste from businesses, waste collection centers and the furniture recycling channel over a vast geographic area.

Energy generation: the bio-boiler

We capture the biogas generated by stored waste. The boiler serves to produce the heat required to treat run-off water and leachate.

Material recovery: the bottom ash maturation platform

Over nearly 20,000 m², this solid residue is watered, turned and screened to extract any metals still present and facilitate the maturation process that makes it possible to reuse the ash in the base layer of new roads.

Rehabilitating the landscape and protecting wildlife

Once closed, the storage cells full of waste become the focus of a renaturing project. The Group's team of ecologists and naturalists work with the facility's biodiversity champion to monitor the populations of birds, amphibians and bats on site. These specialists also identify the landscape components and areas that especially require preserving to maintain a favorable habitat for all species. Our approach to preserving biodiversity has been certified "Ecocert Engagement biodiversité".
