Integrated Report 2023: Accelerating OUR / YOUR transitions

Cover of Séché Environnement's 2023 integrated report. Title : Accelerating our / your transitions
Backed by solid fundamentals, rooted in its DNA as a family-owned group, Séché Environnement is growing steadily and committing itself with ever greater ambition to the ecological transition. Its performance paves the way for new objectives for 2026, notably in the fight against climate change, the protection of biodiversity and the preservation of resources.

To discover in this 2023 edition:

1. Energy and climate

Two years ahead of schedule, Séché Environnement is meeting its interim targets to 2025 for reducing its greenhouse gas emissions, and looking ahead to new horizons. In line with the Paris Agreement and COP 21, its decarbonation strategy includes transition plans on phasing out fossil fuels, energy sobriety and reducing its methane emissions. For its customers, the Group is stepping up its efforts to deploy solutions that promote the material and energy recovery of waste.

2. Circular economy

The circular economy is one of the keys to ecological transition in industry and in the territories. The industrial innovation strategy is an essential booster. This is why Séché Environnement is focusing its efforts on developing material recovery solutions for its customers and devices to reduce its own impacts.

3. Water cycle

In 2023, the sixth planetary limit, that of fresh water, was exceeded. For its ecological transition and that of its customers, Séché Environnement is raising its targets for reducing water consumption and intensifying its development in the industrial water cycle.

4. Risk management and hazards

These professions require a high level of expertise, essential for intervening in complex pollution situations and guaranteeing optimal management of products, waste and critical scenarios. An expert in risk and hazard management, Séché Environnement offers its customers a range of assistance, remediation and emergency response services.

5. Biodiversity

Séché Environnement’s “Sustainable Action for Nature” (ADN) strategy embodies its deep commitment to biodiversity. The Group recently launched its 2023-2027 strategy, marked by a significant increase in the number of sites committed to the act4nature international cycle. For its customers too, Séché Environnement is strengthening its support by offering depollution, rehabilitation and environmental emergency response.
