Essential expertise for rehabilitation projects

We possess the full range of expertise and complementary knowledge required to manage your depollution and rehabilitation projects, whether they concern industrial, urban or natural sites, from start to finish.

Tailored solutions

We provide manufacturers, real estate developers and local authorities with solutions that are tailored to suit the characteristics of the site and ensure regulatory compliance, including making the site safe, using confinement where required, deconstructing buildings, removing asbestos (even within occupied buildings), conducting chemical, biological and pyrotechnical depollution and landscape restoration.

Controlling hazards

As leading experts in hazardous waste, we guarantee the highest standards in protecting human health and the environment. Our expertise in decontamination, along with our proficiency in various confinement techniques, enable us to treat asbestos, hydrocarbons, heavy metals (such as lead, mercury, zinc, etc.) and even pyrotechnic waste (including ammunition, airbag cylinders, and flairs).

Our employees receive specific training to guarantee the highest levels of individual and collective safety at work. They also monitor habitats, installing networks of piezometers on the outskirts of site, conduct compliance assessments and monitor air quality.

Furthermore, our laboratories characterize waste, and monitor environmental indicators (such as discharge into the air and water, analysis on soil and the water table), leading to pilot studies, which can be conducted in situ, to find an innovative response to suit each specific situation.

Toward a circular economy

Our solutions to recover waste, the energy contained in waste, as well as reuse excavated land, enable our clients to reduce their overall environmental footprint.

Demolition and dismantling

We demolish and dismantle all kinds of sites, both industrial (metal framework, mixers, silos, etc.) and urban (housing projects, schools, etc.). Moreover, we are authorized to work on highly complex structures, such as former plants, laboratories and tanks, as well as at height and in buildings with asbestos. All our operations are highly controlled, harnessing confinement techniques and using specialist collective and personal protection equipment.

Asbestos removal

We operate all throughout France, whatever the volume or type of asbestos waste, and irrespective of whether buildings are occupied or not. Our experts identify the items containing asbestos and draw up a removal plan (procedures and operating methods). With a solid command of confinement techniques, we use all necessary protection equipment in strict compliance with health and safety rules. Our certified channels rigorously manage, check and trace asbestos waste, from administrative tracking to final treatment.

Confinement on site and thermoforming

We adapt our confinement techniques to suit the type of site and pollution risk. Our experts install thermoform sheeting to protect and control the space in which they work and manage contact with surrounding space, working at all times in strict compliance with personal protection measures.

Depollution of soils

Polluted land is excavated, analyzed and sorted, using the full range of treatment techniques, including sifting, washing as well as biological or thermal treatment, either on site or within our recovery platforms, to ensure the majority of backfill land can be reused.

Lead remediation

We decontaminate all types of land or sites, both indoor and outdoor, including porous surfaces (asphalt, gravel, green space), less porus surfaces (slabs, natural stone, cement), public buildings, private housing, and public spaces (sidewalks, roads, gardens). To produce the most effective results, we offer a range of techniques such as very high performance vacuum filtration, cleaning fibrous and aqueous media,  transferring and high pressure cleaning, sanding, scouring, temporary or permanent encasement, extraction and excavation of contaminated materials. Furthermore, we make sites fully compliant with regulations on concentration levels.

Pyrotechnic decontamination

Our teams are called in on site remediation operations to detect and clear ammunition present on former battlefields or military land. We collect, transport and treat highly dangerous waste materials, including Explosive Remnants of War, ammunition, detonators and shells, airbag cylinders, flairs and fireworks.

Tailoring projects to you

Studies and decision-making tools

We assess the cost of work, develop innovative solutions, analyze samples in the laboratory, and conduct work upstream, including the preliminary draft plan, preliminary measurements, and implementation studies.

Preparation and implementation of safety measures

We use thermoforming and confinement techniques appropriately for each site, and also design and develop collective protective equipment (CPE) and personal protective equipment (PPE).

Work on site

We dismantle metal and concrete (industrial or urban sites), carry out earthworks, sort waste and polluted soil (using mechanical and analytical tools) and ensure pyrotechnic depollution.

Logistics

We supply multimodal transportation solutions, including barges, trains, and trucks.

Elimination of waste and polluted soil

We optimize channels, provide sorting and pretreatment solutions and guarantee traceability.

Our remediation solutions in practice

Frontignan la Peyrade: decontamination of the former refinery

The site of the former Frontignan la Peyrade refinery, located close to the town center and the coast, is undergoing a major environmental rehabilitation operation. For more than 3 years, teams from Antea Group and Séché Eco Services will be working to clean up the soil, while taking into account the severe constraints imposed by the proximity of local residents. This 11-hectare site presents a number of technical challenges and requires innovative solutions. It will enable the town of Frontignan la Peyrade to reclaim land for the development of a new district, thus meeting its objective of zero net artificial development.

Visit to the asbestos removal site on the Île aux vaches Natura 2000 site in Tours (37)

Located on the Loire in the heart of the city of Tours, the Île aux vaches is home to all the drinking water wells that supply the city. Contaminated with asbestos following renovation work carried out in 2008, the island, which is classified as a Natura 2000 site and a natural area of ecological, faunistic and floristic interest, had to undergo a particularly complex decontamination operation. Armand Debar and his teams from Séché éco-services did everything possible to filter and evacuate the asbestos cement debris while preserving the silt and sand, preserving the ecosystem and taking all the necessary safety measures for asbestos waste.

Tour of a demolition and asbestos removal site in Issoudun

Armand Debar, deputy operations manager, takes us on a tour of the demolition and asbestos removal worksite at a historic industrial site, the Lucien Coupet plant in Issoudun in the Indre department (36). Taken over in 2018 by Safran, its dilapidated facilities, formerly dedicated to the production of seats for the aeronautical industry, were to be razed. This was a complex project requiring increased vigilance in terms of the safety of employees and local residents.
