Collection and bundling

Through a range of services tailored to suit your needs, such as organizing collections and providing dumpsters, we help you find the most effective solutions to process your waste. Mixed waste is sorted at our platforms to separate recyclable materials, waste suitable for incineration, and waste destined for landfill.

Recovery of recyclable materials

Recyclable materials (such as metals, plastics, wood, paper, and card) are extracted from various different waste flows before they are conditioned and sent for recycling as part of a circular economy approach.

SRF, a new source of low-carbon energy

We harness dry, high-calorie waste to produce Solid Recovered Fuels (SRF), a new source of low-carbon energy that certain industries use to replace fossil fuels.

Waste-to-energy

Non-recyclable, flammable waste is sent to our incineration units. The energy released by burning the materials is channeled into urban or industrial heating networks and electricity generators.

Storage of non-recyclable waste

Our storage facilities are designed to minimize the environmental impact of waste. The biogas, which is produced naturally when organic waste decomposes, is captured, treated, and injected into urban gas networks as well as electricity or heat generation plants.

How we process non-hazardous waste

Expert support and a simplified processing procedure

Our account manager considers your situation, draws up a proposal recommending the most appropriate way to treat your waste and supports you to complete the regulatory process.

All the documents, including the preliminary identification form, operator sorting certificate attestation, and the pre-acceptance certificate, are completed digitally and available in your account.

Optimized logistics for collecting and transporting waste

We can collect and transport your non-hazardous waste from where it is produced to our treatment units, taking an eco-logistics approach that optimizes transport time and resources to cut the carbon footprint of transit.

Waste treatment and recovery to extract recyclable materials and produce energy

After having checked the compliance of the load when it arrives at our treatment facility, your waste is sent to the previously identified channel to optimize recovery of recyclable materials and energy.

The city of Montauban chooses séché environnement to give a boost to its energy and environmental policy

With the aim of remaining a major player in waste treatment in Tarn-et-Garonne (France), the joint waste treatment union Sirtomad wanted to ensure the future of its waste treatment plant by increasing its service life and energy production capacity. Thanks to an ambitious management and modernisation project, Séché Environnement was awarded the public service delegation contract for the operation of the plant in Montauban. The group intends to make this plant a shining example.

Inauguration of the first SRF thermal power station developed in France

Thursday, October 5, in the presence of many political and economic actors, as well as employees of the Changé site, Joël Séché was proud to inaugurate the first French thermal power station dedicated to the enhancement of SRFs for the production and distribution of heat across a metropolitan area. Since this fall, the City of Laval possesses the very first network powered by fuels produced from previously non-recyclable waste. Nearly 6,400 homes will be supplied with heating. Based on an exemplary approach, this new technology is a response to the objectives set by the Energy Transition for Green Growth Act (ETGGA). It is also a new step in the development model advocated by Séché Environnement since its foundation: providing territories with the necessary tools and solutions to participate in a Circular Economy dynamic while optimizing the use of resources.
