Three Séché Environnement sites powered by the new solar power plant at the Plaine de l’Ain Industrial Park

The Plaine de l'Ain Industrial Park (PIPA) has just inaugurated Astrée Solar, its new solar power plant. This collective self-consumption facility will supply renewable electricity to three industrial sites belonging to the Séché Environnement group, located in the town of Saint-Vulbas (01).

Thanks to this collective self-consumption project, our Speichim Processing and Trédi sites, as well as our R&D center, will benefit from locally produced renewable electricity.

“Being able to power our industrial sites with electricity generated as close as possible to the facilities represents a concrete, collective step toward a more sustainable industry,” noted ‌Maxime Séché, CEO of Séché Environnement.

Astrée Solar is securing the energy supply for these sites while reducing the carbon footprint of their operations. In this way, the solar power plant contributes to the commitments made by the Group as part of its Climate Strategy.
