Mo'UVE is partnering with the Educational Land Areas to raise awareness among young people about biodiversity

stand-mouve

In Montauban, Mo’UVE continues its commitment to biodiversity by supporting the Educational Land Areas (ATE). Through awareness-raising initiatives, the sharing of expertise, and corporate sponsorship, the company helps young people discover the riches of their environment and encourages them to become active participants in its preservation.

On June 5, nearly 200 students gathered at Place Lalaque in Montauban for the “Aires Terrestres Éducatives” (ATE) Meet-and-Greet Day, organized by FNE82. The event gave children the opportunity to participate in numerous workshops focused on exploring biodiversity and raising awareness of environmental issues.

As a partner of the event, Mo’UVE, alongside SIRTOMAD, led a workshop on waste management and best practices for recycling. Through fun and educational activities, the students gained a better understanding of the everyday actions that help preserve their environment.

A Commitment Rooted in the Act4Nature Initiative

This participation is part of Mo’UVE’s Act4Nature initiative, which places the preservation of biodiversity at the heart of its actions. Convinced that raising awareness is an essential tool for addressing environmental challenges, the company works to share knowledge and foster a better understanding of ecosystems.

Beyond this event, Mo’UVE supports the Educational Land Areas project as a sponsor, providing its expertise and teams.

Sharing Knowledge to Take Action

In the coming months, Cédric Gouxette, an ecologist, and Gérémy Payet, biodiversity specialist at Mo’UVE, will speak with students to share their knowledge of natural habitats and the species that inhabit them. Educational site visits will also allow young people to observe biodiversity in the field and better understand the challenges related to its preservation.

This sharing of expertise illustrates Mo’UVE’s commitment to making a tangible contribution to environmental education and to strengthening ties between local stakeholders, scientists, and future generations.

Concrete Actions to Support Biodiversity

Mo’UVE’s sponsorship is part of a long-term approach. In addition to educational activities, a collaborative effort will be undertaken with students to design and then implement initiatives that promote biodiversity along the walking path bordering the Tarn River.

By involving young people in concrete projects, this initiative enables them to become active participants in preserving their environment, while deepening their understanding of the local natural heritage.

Through this commitment, Mo’UVE reaffirms its determination to work alongside local stakeholders to raise awareness among future generations and make a lasting contribution to the preservation of biodiversity.
