Hazardous waste

QUALITY, SAFETY, TRACEABILITY, TRANSPARENCY

Waste is classified as hazardous if it has one or more of the hazardous properties listed in Appendix I of the French decree of April 18, 2002. Explosive, harmful, carcinogenic, mutagenic, etc., a total of 14 hazardous properties are listed. Due to its physical, chemical or biological properties, waste with health or environmental risks cannot be treated in the same facilities as household and similar waste.

Séché Environnement provides treatment and recovery sites for its clients that produce hazardous waste. These sites comply with the most recent standards and have optimized capacities, as do the storage sites.

Eco-logistics services complete the Group's offer in hazardous waste handling. Séché Environnement treats all non-radioactive hazardous waste, and has special tools to treat specific kinds of waste such as PCBs or POPs, both from France and abroad.
