Medical waste (DASRI) as well as sharp objects, including needles, scalpels, etc., are hazardous and listed under category 18 of types of waste.

This waste is mainly produced by hospitals and clinics and in smaller quantities by nurses, independent practitioners, dentists, laboratories, veterinarians, etc.

Séché Environnement has special tools to treat this type of waste. It is processed in separate or single-use containers (boxes, bottles, etc.) for thermal treatment.
